Can I refer a property that I do not own?
Yes, with the owner's knowledge and authorization. The cleanest path is for the owner or authorized representative to contact Stonehall directly, or for the professional to introduce both parties together. Access, testing, account changes, and follow-on work still require the appropriate owner authorization.
What should a professional include in an introduction?
Share the property city or ZIP code, the observed symptom, relevant system categories, the owner's preferred contact details, and any real timing constraint. Do not send passwords, alarm codes, Wi-Fi keys, camera links, footage, floor plans, sensor locations, access instructions, or occupancy schedules.
Does Stonehall replace the referring professional or trade?
No. Stonehall defines and coordinates the property-technology portion of an agreed scope. Inspections, brokerage duties, construction, plumbing, electrical work, monitoring, regulated alarm work, permitting, dispatch, and life-safety services remain with the appropriately qualified party.
Can the owner or decision-maker live outside Nevada?
Yes. A remote owner, family representative, or adviser can participate in the decision process when the physical property is within Stonehall's service area and local access is authorized. Location, equipment access, and the responsible decision-maker are confirmed before work is agreed.
Does this referral path create a compensation agreement?
No. An introduction through this page is a service handoff, not a compensation agreement. Any separate arrangement would need to be documented independently and comply with applicable professional, brokerage, licensing, and disclosure requirements.
